Welcome

Hello MS Students,

This is the blog we are going to use for history class this year.  The history blog will be assigned in renweb.  Go to mrsmaclarensancienthistoryiii.pbworks.com to click on the link that will take you to this blog.

Below is a short video that will explain a bit about blogs and how they are used today.  I hope that this helps you understand how and why we are going to use this as a discussion board for sharing ideas about history this year.

Underneath this blog you will see the word comments.  It is a hyperlink - click on it and a comment box will pop up.  You will be able to comment on this blog.  At the end there will be a gibberish word that comes up and you will need to put that in a box.  This is to keep computers from adding goofy comments to blogs all over the place.  Let's have some fun with this as we go through the year.  You can comment on what I write or on what a friend says in the comment section.

  2. Alison Gibson: Cause: Last year when i was in diving some people treated me meanly, it was hard to endure. Effect: I realized that God could help me in this situation, so I prayed and trusted that God would give me strength to pull through. Therefore, I got stronger in my faith and in my diving.

  4. Cause: our family traveled to our grandparents house where they had 7 new born kittens, we wanted one EXTREMELY bad, but they were too little and my mom said no. 7 weeks later we went back to my grandmothers house, and me and my sister prayed for a cat the night before we left, and there was only one cat left. effect :the morning after my dad arrived back in austin(8 hour trip) we found the kitten underneath the hood of my moms car. safe, hungry, and angry, so we named him hood. THE END

Cause: The person who was pushing my stroller when I was a 2 year old, forgot to put on my seatbelt. Effect: I flew out of the stroller and landed on the window sill in my parent's room. My forehead swelled up, bruised up and I got two black eyes and looked like a raccoon for weeks. Even now have a scar to prove it.
